External Sales Executive - Cape Town

POSITION INFO:

We are a leading distributor of technologies such as Wireless Broadband, Wi-Fi, Networking, Routing, VoIP, IoT, Fibre, Access Control and IP Video. We supply only best-of-breed products, providing strong after-sales service, technical support, internationally certified trainings, as well as finance solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Hunt – prospect, cold‑outreach, qualify and build pipeline of new and dormant customers.
Farm – grow existing accounts, upsell accessories/high‑margin lines.
Feedback and Reporting – Provide accurate forecasting and market feedback weekly.
Interdepartmental Collaboration – Act as the central point of contact for the customer, internal sales, product managers and the accounts teams.
Stay up to date with product knowledge, market and industry trends and best practices.
Attend company, Customer and Industry events in the region when necessary.

Experience:

5 + years B2B IT/ICT sales experience.
Consistent track record of meeting / exceeding quotas and targets, with contactable references.
Comfortable engaging C‑level and technical stakeholders (ISP, MSP, Enterprise).

Qualifications:

Matric.
Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification preferred.
Networking / wireless certifications (MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cambium, CompTIA Network+) advantageous but not essential.
