SUMMARY:

We are seeking an External Sales Consultant for a permanent vacancy based in Roodepoort, Gauteng

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
   

• 5+ years of proven sales success within the Racking, Shelving, and Mezzanine Flooring (RSM) industry, with a verifiable track record and 3 professional references.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD design software, BOM compilation (considering material, labor, and transport costs), technical site evaluations, and MS Office.
• Core Competencies: B2B executive negotiations, pipeline management, consultative selling, meeting facilitation, and commercial acumen.
• Desired Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, highly organized, analytical, persuasive, resilient under pressure, and dedicated to long-term career growth.

• Field Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct daily cold calls, generate qualified B2B leads, and secure daily face-to-face appointments with target clients.
• Technical Site Scoping & CAD Design: Conduct site measurements, perform technical load/space calculations, design layout solutions using CAD software, and build accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Full-Cycle Sales Management: Manage transactions from initial outreach and C-suite negotiations (CEOs, CFOs, Supply Chain Heads) to closing and post-sales support.
• CRM Discipline & Reporting: Update CRM records daily (activities, deal stages, client profiles) and submit accurate weekly/monthly activity reports and sales forecasts.
• Customer Service & Project Delivery: Coordinate with internal teams and installation crews to ensure seamless project execution and resolve client queries swiftly.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed agreed weekly, monthly, and annual personal sales volume targets.
• Consultative Selling: Execute a need-based sales approach, focusing on client pain points and operational requirements rather than generic product features.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an active deal pipeline across all conversion stages to drive consistent revenue generation.
