POSITION INFO:
Our client is an established rubber manufacturer supplying products and solutions to mining organisations, and they are looking for a disciplined and driven External Sales Representative to grow their customer base across Steelpoort, Lydenburg and surrounding mining areas.

This is a hands-on field sales role where you'll spend your time visiting mining operations, engaging with customers, identifying requirements and facilitating sales on-site.

The successful candidate needs to be energetic and self-motivated, but also disciplined enough to manage their territory, follow up on opportunities and keep their sales pipeline moving.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site visits to mining clients and identify new sales opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with mining companies and key decision-makers.
Facilitate sales on-site by understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities and manage the sales process through to completion.
Maintain accurate sales activity, customer information and pipeline reporting.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are communicated and delivered effectively.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12); a Sales, Marketing or Commercial qualification will be advantageous.
3–5 years' external sales experience, preferably within a technical, industrial or manufacturing environment.
Mining industry experience and existing relationships within the mining sector will be highly advantageous.
Proven ability to generate new business and manage an existing customer base.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Highly disciplined, energetic and self-motivated, with a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively between mining sites.
