SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a driven and experienced External Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct daily client visits and business development activities.
Make a minimum of 6 customer visits per day.
Identify and develop new sales and project opportunities.
Procure and specify project sales and follow up throughout the project lifecycle.
Present products, solutions and new offerings to clients.
Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry developments, competitor offerings and market trends.
Provide clients with excellent service, product support and technical assistance.
Prepare and submit sales reports, proposals and other administration accurately and on time.
Provide regular sales feedback and market insights to management.
Manage appointments, diary and customer follow-ups effectively.
Distribute marketing and product information to clients where required.
Attend meetings, respond to customer enquiries and process orders efficiently.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Take on ad hoc projects and duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12.
Valid South African driver's licence.
Residing in Johannesburg.
3+ years' proven sales experience within the electrical industry is highly advantageous.
Strong product and technical knowledge within the relevant industry.
Excellent communication, presentation and networking skills.
Computer literate with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
SYSPRO experience will be advantageous.
Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively to clients.
