SUMMARY:
Role Purpose: To manage and control export shipments across sea and air freight from file opening to final delivery, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Handle full export process from A–Z (documentation, bookings, customs, invoicing).
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
Prepare and verify export documentation (Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, Certificates of Origin, Customs declarations).
Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide proactive client updates.
Ensure compliance with Incoterms, SARS, and international trade regulations.
Negotiate carrier rates when required and manage accurate costings.
Maintain complete and accurate files in line with Heneways’ operational standards.

Requirements:

3–5 years’ experience in export logistics (sea and air freight).
Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and international trade procedures.
Proficiency in CargoWise, Shipshape or similar freight systems, plus MS Office.
Ability to manage files independently from start to finish.
Excellent communication and problemâsolving skills.
