Job Title: Executive Personal Assistant
Department: Administration / Executive Support
Location: Westmead, Pinetown, Durban
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract (1–6 months, with option to renew by agreement)
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30
Salary: R12,000 CTC neg, depending on experience

About Us

Our client is a well-established business based in Westmead, Pinetown, seeking an experienced Executive Personal Assistant to provide professional administrative and executive support to the owner.
The successful candidate will assist with managing a busy working environment, coordinating competing priorities, preparing meetings and correspondence, and ensuring that important actions and commitments are followed through.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the owner's diary, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements, identifying scheduling conflicts and prioritising important commitments.
Prepare correspondence, meeting documents, minutes, reports and action trackers, while maintaining accurate and organised electronic records.
Follow up with managers, suppliers and other stakeholders on outstanding actions and deadlines, escalating urgent or sensitive matters when required.

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or similar role, supporting an owner, director or senior manager.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic filing systems.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Experience in a small manufacturing or owner-managed business environment will be advantageous.

What is on Offer

Salary: R12,000 CTC neg, depending on experience.
Fixed-term contract of 1–6 months, with an option to renew by agreement.
On-site position based in Westmead, Pinetown, Durban.
Working hours: 07:30 – 16:30.
