Dispatch Operator

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Dispatch Operator to join their team in the Germiston area.

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately according to delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage and process orders using the Meat Matrix system to ensure traceability and inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload chillers and cold storage areas, ensuring correct product handling and temperature control.
• Verify quantities, product quality, and documentation before dispatch.
• Maintain clean, organised, and safe dispatch and storage areas in line with company hygiene and safety standards.
• Coordinate with production, QC, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfilment.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock reconciliation when required.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, health, and safety regulations at all times.

• Matric / Grade 12 (minimum).
• Proven experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations within the FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge and experience with Meat Matrix software is essential.
• Understanding of cold chain management and product handling procedures.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading tasks.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
