Company based in Johannesburg is seeking a full time Dispatch Clerk to handle all orders upon completion. Strong administrative skills, must have Pastel experience and have experience working in a warehouse environment.

POSITION INFO:

Company based in Johannesburg is seeking a full time Dispatch Clerk to handle all orders upon completion. Strong administrative skills, must have Pastel experience and have hands on experience working and experience safely operating a forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating the movement of orders and services in our warehouse once an order has been completed. You will be the liaison between professional drivers, customers, and the company dispatch department. You will oversees the scheduling, staging, tracking and reporting of the day’s activities and interfaces with customers and other department staff. The position requires an ability to communicate information clearly, and keep a constant focus on the work.

You will be responsible for route planning to ensure efficient logistics is actioned for excellent delivery and cost control.

You will need to check work assignments, monitor job progress, and communicate effectively with line management and the finanance department. You will be responsible for the preparation of invoices, POD''s, documentation and communicate efficiently with the finance department.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, must be good with numbers and is a good communicator.

Previous forklift operation or heavy machinery experience will be considered a significant advantage.

Our company works on Pastel, and this role requires Pastel skills. Please only apply if you have experience working on Pastel.
