Our client in George is hiring a Delivery Driver & Yard Operator for a full-time, permanent position within a well-established building materials and hardware retail environment.

Description:
The Delivery Driver & Yard Operator will be responsible for the safe delivery of building materials to customers, as well as assisting with yard operations, stock handling, and forklift duties. This role requires a reliable, safety-conscious individual who can work well in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Load and offload stock using a forklift
• Assist with general yard operations and stock control
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues
• Adhere to all safety, traffic, and company procedures
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers

• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 Driver’s License
• Valid PDP
• Forklift Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant driving and yard experience
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and safety focused
