JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading Hair and Beauty Accessory company are looking to appoint a Debtors Controller, responsible for collecting debts, evaluating new credit requests, payments of company debts, reconciling complex debts accounts, processing invoices, maintaining the sales ledger and providing administrative support.

Requirements/Qualifications

Matric certificate
Degree or Diploma in Finance a definite advantage
2 years minimum credit control/debtors experience
Strong reconciliation experience
FMCG background very beneficial
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (SYSPRO) -+
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
