SUMMARY:
Asset & Debtors Controller (Perm Position) EE/AA Candidates Location: Boksburg

POSITION INFO:

Allocated sections:

• Trade Debtor Management
• Fixed Assets
• Other Debtors
• Deposits
• Pre-paid Expenses
• Cash and Cash Equivalents
• Inter-company Debtors
• Other assets accounts as deemed necessar

Responsibilities:

• Debtor Management
• New Account Application, Credit Vetting
• Maintaining customer master data
• Cash collection and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Credit Management reporting
• Cash collection forecast
• Prepare and send customer statements and invoices
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders, provide outstanding documentation where necessary
• Reconciling customer payments against outstanding invoices
• Loading creditor payments on banking platforms
• Managing and processing of petty cash transactions
• Creditor payment posting
• Fixed Assets
• Cash and Cash Equivalents
• Other debtors
• Deposits
• Month-end closure procedures for allocated sections
• Re-invoicing / Service Invoicing / Credit Note processing
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation preparation for allocated sections
• Ensure month-end is complete by the necessary deadline per section

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Bookkeeping and/or Debtor Management Certificate/Diploma
• 3-5 years working experience in a similar role.
• Mandatory: Debt collection / Debtor management experience
