Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Debtors Clerk who thrives in a dynamic, high-paced setting. You will take full ownership of the debtor’s book, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely collections across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain an accurate debtor’s book across retail, wholesale, and online channels
• Monitor account aging, perform reconciliations, and allocate payments efficiently
• Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve queries promptly
• Process credit notes and verify returns for e-commerce and wholesale clients
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure smooth collections
• Prepare regular debtors reports and support the Finance Manager with audits and compliance
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 5+ years’ experience in debtors/accounts receivable, ideally within retail or a multi-channel business
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting proficiency
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (Odoo ERP preferred)
• Proven experience in customer account management and dispute resolution
• Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and international accounts
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized, self-driven, and accountable
