SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Manager for our client based in the Durban area.

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will lead the setup, implementation and management of data management systems in line with study protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.

Ensure that clinical data management services are delivered in a consistent, high-quality, and timely manner and ensure efficient data flow within the clinical site, by having a continuous oversight of the clinical data.

Administrate Data Management Systems
Supervise Standard Operating Procedures
Perform Data Manager Role
Assist with study setup
Develop study databases
Maintain study databases
Prepare study data reports
Participate in data management training
Assist sites with development and implementation of efficient data management processes

Grade 12
Relevant degree or 3 year diploma (IT, Computer programming)
2 year data management experience
Database programming in SQL on any relational database system (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle,FoxPro and/or Access); Computer programming language (preferably C-Programming)
In depth understanding of data management practices and tools
Experience in clinical trial environment and clinical data management practices and tools is preferred
DFdiscover/DataFax or another clinical data management system (e.g. Oracle Clinical, Medidata, Epidata, RedCap) is preferred
