SUMMARY:
Shared Services Manufacturing / Recycling operations based in Springs (East Rand), has an opening for a Data Capturing Clerk (specifically for their Creditors Division). Ensure that all invoices are captured accurately within the SLA, to ensure that suppliers are paid on time and all interactions and queries are logged and attended to promptly. Previous / current experience within a Finance Department capturing high volume invoices essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum completed Matric / Grade 12 with Maths and Accounting essential, coupled with 2-3 years working experience in a highly pressurized and high volume invoice processing Division. Proven ability to capture in excess of 140 invoices per day essential. Payroll Diploma / Accounting Diploma highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities include:
Capturing invoices (140 per day minimum);
Receive and capture all suppliers invoices;
Ensure required daily volume of capturing is done;
Perform a full VAT check before capturing an invoice to ensure good corporate governance and legislative requirements are met;
Make decisions on rejected invoices and route queries accordingly;
Resolve all customer enquiries timeously and effectively within SLA's;
Maintain database integrity by regular balancing of data between systems and investigation of anomalies on control reports;
Report all system problems to the responsible ICT Department and follow through to resolution, and;
Ensure that monthly capturing deadlines are met and adhered to in terms of the SLA's. Experience on JDE or similar ERP systems highly advantageous.
