DOMESTIC CLAIMS TECHNICIAN

SUMMARY:
An Insurance company based in Rivonia/Sandton is currently seeking a Domestic Claims Technician who will be responsible for managing claims within the portfolio provided throughout the life cycle of the claim. This claims technician must ensure that customers’ expectations and claims are proactively managed through the life of the claim. All clients are dealt with empathically, whilst providing expert guidance and an exceptional service experience.

Compliance requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Successfully Completed RE 1 or RE5
• NQF Level 4 certificate in short term insurance
• Statement of results – 150 credits
• CPD certificates indicating that your last cycle is up to date
• Class of business certificate in Personal Lines
• Updated DOFA report indicating that you are a registered Rep with your current Employer and that you are not working as a Claims technician under supervision.
• Minimum five years relevant work experience in short term insurance claim settlement (Personal and Commercial claims, Motor and Non-Motor).
