POSITION INFO:

A well-established private Dental Practice in Pretoria East requires a highly organised and detail-oriented Dental Billing & Administrator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dental billing, dental administration or practice administration who enjoys working in a professional, patient-focused environment.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for billing, account administration and general administrative duties, ensuring that the financial and administrative side of the practice runs efficiently. Previous experience within a dental practice would be highly beneficial, particularly experience with Elixir.

A candidate who is HPCSA registered as a Dental Assistant would be advantageous, as they would also be able to provide occasional support at reception or assist in the dental practice when required. However, Dental Assisting will not be the primary function of the position. Candidates without dental assisting experience but who are eager to learn and have a strong administrative background are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in billing, administration, medical administration or dental practice administration.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy.

• Experience with dental billing would be highly advantageous.

• Experience with Elixir would be beneficial.

• HPCSA registration as a Dental Assistant would be advantageous, but is not essential.

• Previous dental practice experience would be an advantage.

• Excellent computer literacy and administrative skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of administrative responsibilities.

• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented.

• A willingness to learn the dental practice environment and assist with reception duties when required.

• Must be comfortable working in a sole-dentist practice and as part of a small team.

Working hours: 06:30 to 16:00, Monday to Thursday & 06:30 to 13:00 on Fridays (MUST BE FINE WITH THESE HOURS)

Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 per month, depending on experience (before deductions)

Starting date: As soon as possible
