SUMMARY:
Customer Service Relationship Consultant
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Relationship Consultant to join our client’s team in the debt counselling industry based in Kempton Park, Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be a registered Debt Counsellor with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong customer-first mindset, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding service. This role is instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction, ensuring retention, and maintaining the company’s reputation for service excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12.
Vehicle and a valid Driver’s License.
Essential: Registered Debt Counsellor
Proven experience in customer service, client relations, or a similar customer-facing role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
A high degree of empathy, patience, and a customer-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, and live chat, serving as the first point of contact.
Handle customer concerns with efficiency, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and escalating more complex matters when required.
Foster strong customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent service that promotes satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Assess customer requirements and deliver personalized support and solutions that align with their needs and expectations.
Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of customer communications, transactions, complaints, and feedback.
Work closely with internal departments, such as operations, to address service-related challenges and enhance overall service quality.
Actively follow up with customers to confirm their concerns are fully addressed and their experience remains positive.
Monitor and share insights with management on customer behavior, service gaps, and opportunities for operational improvements.
Consistently achieve or surpass set performance benchmarks, including response rates, resolution times, and overall customer satisfaction levels.
