Customer Relationship Manager     

Salary: Market Related

 

Purpose of Position:

 

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for 2 x Customer Relationship Managers, 1 x Polokwane and 1x Rustenburg.

The purpose of both positions Promote and Sell all products to established and new customers and existing customer projects (Interaction with government officials and other stake holders). This is an exciting opportunity for a potential candidate seeking a full-service function to their clients - sales, account management and direct customer relationship management. Servicing, driving and assisting in the success of the client’s projects and future business. Experience in the construction / building / hardware industry advantageous. Both positions are permanent with benefits.

  • Matric; Tertiary Qualification in Marketing / Sales
  • Computer Literate (MS Office, SAGE)
  • 5 Years experience in a similar role
  • Well groomed, well-spoken - driven by customer satisfaction and personal goals
  • 1 x Candidate currently based in Polokwane, Limpopo
  • 1 x Candidate currently based in Rustenburg, North West
  • Previous selling experience in a manufacturing and/or building & construction environment.
    • Competency in required computer software, e.g. Sales Logics, Microsoft Office and Lotus notes to

ensure effective administration, communication and presentation skills

  • Adhere strictly to the company’s policies with regards to business ethics and anti-competitive behaviour
  • Valid Drivers License, No Criminal Record / Restrictions

 

Duties:

 

  • The implementation and management of marketing and sales strategies
  • The achievement of set sales and financial targets (margin, DSO’s and ASP and Volume)
  • Increasing the distribution channels of products and services offered by the company
  • Resolving customer complaints that might arise
  • Pricing of tender documents as well as day to day quotations requested by customers inclusive of estimations from plans submitted by customers
  • Monitoring and reporting of competitor pricing and strategies
  • Regular product training for internal staff and customers alike
  • Continuous promotion of company products to markets dominated by other products – low cost housing, government projects and sheet metal
  • Assist in the effective management of customer accounts
  • Building long-term business relationships with customers
  • Submission of monthly management and market reports as required by superior
  • Monthly auditing and authorization of transporter claims
  • Fulfilling the internal sales function if and when required
  • Take Internal Sales Consultants on customers visits as and when required
  • Participating in stock takes on a regular basis
  • Ensuring site safety and that company health and safety standards are implemented and adhered to in the daily depot operations
  • Salary Package: Basic Salary: R35K-40K per month Plus Benefits (Medical Aid; Pension fund; Housing Allowance

Cell phone Allowance; Company Car; Guaranteed 13th cheque)
