Support contractors throughout their full journey, from first contact and onboarding through to ongoing customer care, combining proactive outbound communication, query resolution and relationship management.

Our client supports contractors throughout their journey, from initial contact through registration and onboarding and into ongoing support.

The business works across contractor registration, compliance, payroll, payments, assignments and general account matters, with teams working together to ensure contractor queries and processes are progressed and resolved.

THE ROLE: CUSTOMER CARE & OUTBOUND SPECIALIST

The Customer Care & Outbound Specialist is a varied, people-focused role supporting contractors throughout their full journey.

The role involves daily contractor communication, handling inbound enquiries, making proactive outbound calls, following up actions, resolving queries and working closely with internal teams to ensure matters move forward smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a key point of contact for contractors from first contact onwards.
• Handle inbound enquiries by phone, email and webchat.
• Make proactive outbound calls to progress contractors and keep actions moving.
• Build strong, ongoing relationships with contractors.
• Support contractors through registration, compliance and onboarding.
• Chase outstanding information and documentation.
• Resolve queries relating to payroll, payments, assignments and general account matters.
• Work closely with Payroll, Registrations and other teams to resolve issues.
• Take ownership of queries and see them through to resolution.
• Manage a busy workload and prioritise what needs to be completed.
• Keep accurate records and update internal systems.
• Support visa expiry processes and AWR reporting.
• Sign and upload contractor assignment schedules.
• Continue supporting contractors throughout their ongoing journey.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in customer service, recruitment, account management, telesales, payroll, compliance or a similar role would be advantageous.
• Confident, friendly and professional on the phone.
• Enjoys speaking to people and building relationships.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively following up.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
• Proactive and enjoys solving problems.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Great attention to detail.
• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable picking up the phone, having conversations and following matters through.
