SUMMARY:
Are you an organised and detail-driven finance professional looking to take on a fast-paced and high-volume role?

POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Creditors Clerk (contract) to join their team and ensure the smooth and accurate management of the accounts payable function.

This role is based in Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile creditors’ invoices against supplier statements and Syspro trial balances.
Investigate and resolve variances by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly payment runs with accurate allocation on Syspro.
Obtain appropriate authorisation for all supplier invoices and expenses.
Submit reconciliations in line with strict deadlines.
Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of all accounts payable documents.
Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external queries.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend practical solutions.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Syspro (advantageous).
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle high transaction volumes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
