CREDITORS CLERK / OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR Location: Blackheath Industria, Cape Town Industry: Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: R25,000 per month, commensurate with experience

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk / Office Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing environment in Blackheath Industria.

The primary responsibility of this role will be Creditors and Accounts Payable, with a secondary focus on general office administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate processing of supplier accounts and invoices, maintaining financial records and providing efficient administrative support to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Process and accurately capture supplier invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare creditor payments and maintain accurate creditor records.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and account queries.
Assist with accounts payable and general bookkeeping duties.
Perform data capturing and maintain accurate filing systems.
Handle emails, telephone calls and general office correspondence.
Provide general administrative support to management and other departments.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure financial information is handled appropriately.

Minimum Requirements

Accounting qualification, preferably in Bookkeeping or Finance.
Minimum 2–3 years'' relevant experience in creditors, accounts payable and/or office administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Experience working on Syspro or a similar accounting system.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
A professional, positive and dependable attitude.
