ð Credit Controller / Import Controller

Exciting Dual-Role Opportunity | Finance & Imports
A well-established player in the industrial minerals sector is seeking a Credit Controller / Import Controller to join their small, dynamic team.
This is a unique opportunity offering a 50/50 split between finance and imports, with a strong emphasis on import operations. Ideal for someone looking to broaden their skill set and gain valuable exposure to international trade.

POSITION INFO:

ð Key Responsibilities

Credit Control:

Manage debtor accounts, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
Monitor and control credit limits in line with company policies
Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve account queries

Import Control (Primary Focus):

Oversee import processes from start to finish
Manage documentation, shipment tracking, and timelines
Liaise with international suppliers and clearing agents
Ensure compliance with import regulations and internal procedures

Additional Duties:

Assist with reporting and month-end processes
Contribute to the smooth running of finance and operational functions

â Minimum Requirements

Relevant experience in credit control and/or import administration
Strong understanding of debtors and basic accounting principles
Import experience is highly advantageous and preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
