The successful incumbent will be responsible for coordinating payroll processing, labour laws regulations and recruitment. If this sounds like you then APPLY NOW

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

Checking that Credit Applications are completed accurately.
Performing reference check from other vendors.
Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
Managing credit approval process and open accounts in SAGE 300 system.
Opening of accounts according to company policies
Releasing of orders, running of orders on hold.
Managing of accounts according to payment terms.
Full debtors’ function including invoice preparation, issue of statements, payment allocation and issue of credit notes should it be needed.
Proactive account monitoring, follow up on clients with aging balances and obtain payment plans where applicable.
Maintaining the debtors ledger, to ensure that all monies due are received timeously.
Following up with legal on all accounts handed over for legal collections.
Preparing and updating detailed debtors aging report and submit to management.
Updating list of units awaiting collection, liaise with transport department.

The ideal candidate has:

3 year accounting qualification or Credit Management.
Accpac SAGE 300
2 – 3 years working in accounting related field and debtor’s accounts exposure
