Credit Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main function of the Credit Controller will be to act as the link between finance and other cost centres, to streamline the workflow with regards to PO''s, invoices & payments of Vendors.

Responsibilities:

Capture quotations received from Marketing/Ops on the accounting software after approval has been received from relevant manager.
Create a purchase order for said quote and link the two together on the software
Send the purchase order to the relevant person with relevant manager in CC
Receive invoice from relevant person and cross check it to the purchase order
Revert if any changes need to be made or if any information has not been recorded
Submit to me for further vetting and capturing on the accounting software where it will be linked to the quote/po & relevant budget.
Furnishing the relevant persons with the pops once payment has been made.
Reconcile creditors with statements and pursue any differences at month-end.
general admin tasks relating to annual returns, good governance and compliance.
