SUMMARY:
Looking for a new opportunity in Pinetown? Are you an experienced and passionate Credit Controller? Our client, a large Distributor of Engineering & Industrial Plastics has a fantastic opportunity immediately available for an experienced Credit Controller.

POSITION INFO:
Successful incumbent will be in possession of a completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years solid debt collections / credit control experience. Be responsible for managing 7, 14 and 30 day accounts; knowledge of open item and balance brought forward reconciliations essential; settlement discounts; collections, handover accounts to Attorneys and Experian, checking credit limits against total outstanding reconciling accounts; liaise with
Sales staff if orders are not released; payment arrangements; process credit notes, petty cash; assist customers with queries ie. statements, invoices and queries; arrange credit limit increases when needed; assist customers with credit applications; discount summaries over and above top 20 - weekly discount summaries; assist Cash Controllers; assist with drop safe procedures and cash-ups; file invoices (branch expenses); report dormant accounts to the Manager. Solid Excel skills essential. Knowledge of D365 highly advantageous.
