SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Credit Controller to join our finance team based in Atlantis, Cape Town. The successful candidate will have between 3 to 5 years’ experience in credit control and a strong ability to manage customer accounts, minimize risk, and ensure timely collections. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the full debtors’ book
Ensure the timely collection of outstanding accounts
Perform customer account reconciliations
Prepare and distribute monthly statements
Monitor credit limits and assess credit risk
Follow up on overdue accounts and implement collection procedures
Resolve customer queries efficiently
Prepare age analysis reports and provide feedback to management
Assist with month-end reporting and audits
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years’ experience in a Credit Controller role
Strong understanding of credit control procedures and risk management
Experience working on accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Pastel, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
