SUMMARY:
Our client, a longstanding family favourite, seeks your credit control experience to assist with the various branch accounts.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

Matric.
Credit Management 1, 2 or 3.
Minimum 5 years experience in credit control.
Experience in an open item and balance brought forward system.
Must be figure orientated
Comfortable in ERP environment.
Advanced Excel.

Responsibilities:
Report to the Manger - Credit Control:

Function in a Regional environment, working with Branch accounts.
Reconcile accounts 60 days and over.
Follow up on overdue accounts.
Process payments.
Make decisions as to when account need to be sent to legal for hand over to Attorneys.
Follow up on unallocated bank deposits.
Achieve set targets and collections.

Competencies:

Strong theoretical understanding of Credit Control.
Must be figure orientated.
Work systematically to achieve set goals.
Adhere to audit policies and procedures.
Good at problem-solving.
Team player.
Sound communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Leadership skills.
Motivate team members.
