Credit Controller

SUMMARY:
Looking for a new opportunity in Pinetown? National Engineering supplier based in Pinetown (KZN) has an opening for a hands-on,  full function Credit Controller to join their team.  Super company to work for with a great working culture.

POSITION INFO:
Successful candidate will have a completed Matric, with 5 years related Credit Control experience.  Be responsible for managing 7, 14, 30 day accounts; knowledge of item open and balance brought forward; settlement discounts; collections; hand over accounts to Attorneys and Experian; checking credit limits against total outstanding; reconciling accounts; liaise with sales staff if orders are not released; payment arrangements; process credit notes; petty cash; assist customers with queries ie. statements, invoices and queries; settlement discounts; arrange credit limit increases when needed; assist customers with credit applications; discount summaries over and above top 20 - weekly discount summaries; assist Cash Controllers; assist with drop safe procedure and cash-up counts; file invoices (branch expenses); control and order stationery and report dormant accounts to Manager.  Above average Excel experience and system experience essential ie. D365.
