What we are looking for: A conceptual copywriter with a clear focus in delivering messaging that accompanies execution materials.

What you will do:

A conceptual copywriter with a clear focus in delivering messaging that accompanies execution materials
Research and discovery to gain insight for new projects
Write creative scripts for films based on creative briefs as received
Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Trans-create content designed to resonate with intended audiences, based on geographical location
Edit and proofread copy, as needed
Work on several campaigns/projects at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on large- and small scale marketing projects – for both offline and online content
Manage large workloads efficiently and effectively
Collaborate with production houses to bring creative concepts to life
Deliver presentations to pitch concepts to Client

What you must have:

Matric
A strong command of the English language
Relevant tertiary degree
6+ years of experience in an advertising agency
Experience in writing thought-provoking headlines, scripts and content for online and offline
A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high quality original, copywriting, clever headlines and conceptualising experience within a variety of advertising campaigns and digital content
Excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills
Must have the ability to work independently and should be a self-starter
Research and discovery to gain insight for new projects
Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in developing and building brands
