SUMMARY:
STUDIO LEAD / SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is URGENTLY seeking a suitably qualified and experienced STUDIO LEAD / SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER for a well-established company, position based in Fourways, Johannesburg.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Relevant qualifications and experience are essential.

Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).

Capability in visualisation software such as D5, Lumion, Twinmotion, 3ds Max / V-Ray or similar.

5yrs+ previous working experience as a professional interior designer.

Strong, demonstrable conceptual and creative interior design ability is essential.

Strong practical understanding of interior construction, detailing, materials, finishes, joinery, lighting and

commercial fit-out.

Revit competency sufficient to understand, lead, review and direct documentation while maintaining

design intent. This is not primarily a high-volume drawing-production role.

Experience managing, briefing or mentoring other designers and technical resources.

Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and design priorities without compromising design quality.

Person will lead design direction, manage and mentor supporting design resources, brief and review

contributors, and work closely with the Senior Revit Technician to ensure that design intent is accurately

translated into coordinated technical documentation.
