Couple Position

SUMMARY:
A safari lodge in the Hoedspruit region, Limpopo is seeking a capable and committed Guide & Admin Assistant Couple to join the team in a live-in capacity.
The successful couple will form part of the day-to-day operation of the lodge, with one partner primarily responsible for field guiding and guest experiences and the other providing administrative and operational support.
As this is a hospitality-based position, both individuals should be comfortable working in a guest-focused environment where teamwork, flexibility, professionalism, and a willingness to assist beyond strictly defined responsibilities are important.

FIELD GUIDE

• Qualified Field Guide
• Valid FGASA qualification
• Required DEAT registration/certification
• Professional and guest-focused approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious
• Genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and the bush

• Previous administrative experience or strong administrative capabilities
• Computer literate
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and comfortable communicating with guests, suppliers, and team members
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to assist with different aspects of the operation when required 

• Conduct guided activities and guest experiences
• Share accurate and engaging information about wildlife, ecology, and the surrounding environment
• Ensure guest safety and comfort during guided activities
• Maintain professional standards when interacting with guests
• Assist with the preparation and upkeep of guiding equipment
• Report operational, safety, or maintenance concerns
• Work closely with management and other team members
• Assist with general lodge operations when reasonably required

• Previous administrative experience or strong administrative capabilities

• Assisting management with administrative tasks

• Supporting stock, purchasing, or supplier administration where applicable
• Maintaining organised and accurate documentation
• Assisting with general operational duties as required

• R25 000 Negotiable (DOE)
• Live-in accommodation provided
• Three meals per day provided while on duty
• 3 weeks on / 1 week off working schedule
