SUMMARY:
A lodge in the Hoedspruit region is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Lodge Management Couple to support the day-to-day operation of the property.

The couple will work across two complementary roles, with one partner assisting the Lodge Manager with daily operations and the other focusing primarily on Reservations and Administration.

The Reservations/Admin role is the key focus and requires someone with previous hospitality industry experience, strong administrative skills, and an understanding of reservations and guest communication.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS:

RSA ID and legal residence essential
Previous hospitality experience required, particularly for the Reservations/Admin role
Experience with reservations and hospitality administration advantageous
Strong computer and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
Professional and guest-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Lodge or hotel operational experience advantageous
Strong interpersonal and guest relations skills
Ability to work together as a couple in a lodge environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGER

Assist the Lodge Manager with the day-to-day operation of the lodge
Support guest relations and ensure high service standards
Assist with staff coordination and daily operational requirements
Assist with guest arrivals, departures, and general guest requests
Support lodge administration and reporting
Assist with operational problem-solving and general lodge duties
Relieve and support the Lodge Manager when required

RESERVATIONS / ADMIN ASSISTANT

Manage and assist with reservations and guest bookings
Handle guest and agent correspondence professionally
Assist with enquiries, confirmations, and booking administration
Maintain accurate reservations and guest records
Assist with invoicing and general lodge administration
Communicate with guests regarding arrivals and requirements
Provide administrative support to the Lodge Manager
Assist with general office and operational administration

PACKAGE:

Combined salary: R25,000 per month
Live-in accommodation provided
Position suited to a couple

LOCATION: Hoedspruit – Limpopo
