SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a Cost Controller to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, analysing costs, managing inventory, and implementing processes that improve operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring costs, maintaining stock controls, supporting budgeting activities, and providing valuable financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage stock control and inventory reporting
Monitor and analyse operational costs
Prepare budgeting and forecasting reports
Perform cost analysis and variance reporting
Extract, analyse, and interpret financial data
Implement and improve financial systems and processes
Prepare management reports and dashboards
Support month-end reporting activities
Ensure accurate stock and cost records are maintained
Assist management with operational and financial decision-making

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

National Diploma or relevant Finance qualification

Experience:

Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
Cost control and costing experience essential
Stock management experience essential
Hospitality or manufacturing industry experience advantageous
Exposure to budgeting and forecasting processes
