Our client, a reputable and growing organisation, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join their team in the beautiful Franschhoek region. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a passion for cost management, inventory control, and operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control operational costs across the business
Manage stock reconciliations and inventory controls
Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions
Analyse cost trends and provide recommendations for improved profitability
Prepare accurate cost reports and management information
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures
Support operational teams with inventory and cost-related insights

Job experience and Skill Required

Relevant Degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost Management, or a related field
2 to 3 years' experience in a Cost Controller or similar finance role
Experience within Hospitality, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments
Strong understanding of stock management and inventory control
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Exposure to Hospitality POS systems
Working knowledge of SAGE X3
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis
