POSITION INFO:

Deloitte seeks to employ a Contracting & Legal Support professional to assist with Contracting and Legal support for the advisory business. 

Role summary:

• Provide pragmatic contracting and legal transactional support to Deloitte’s Advisory practice: drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, assessing legal risk, ensuring policy compliance and advising internal clients to enable timely, compliant deal closures.

Key responsibilities: 

• Draft, review and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, sub‑contracts, amendments and related commercial documents using Deloitte templates.
• Produce clear redlines, negotiation plans and 1‑page executive risk summaries for business owners.
• Assess and quantify contractual risks (liability, indemnities, IP, data protection, regulatory) and recommend mitigation or escalation.
• Ensure contracts comply with Deloitte policies and approval workflows; run basic sanctions/AML/export control checks where required.
• Maintain contract register and update CLM metadata; coordinate signature, countersignature and archiving.
• Advise deal teams in plain English, attend negotiation calls, and prepare scripted fallback positions.
• Contribute to process improvement: template updates, clause bank maintenance, repository clean‑ups and playbook creation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws Degree
• Minimum of 6 years experience
