Compliance Associate

POSITION INFO:

Carry out KYC checks for new clients and partners, verifying documentation and managing onboarding records
Conduct Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence for higher-risk profiles, including politically exposed persons (PEPs)
Monitor transactions to detect suspicious activity and ensure adherence to AML policies
Perform risk assessments on both new and existing clients to support informed decision-making
Contribute to timely and accurate regulatory reporting requirements
Manage and update compliance registers and ensure all documentation is well maintained
Support the delivery of internal compliance training and help enhance overall compliance procedure
 
Skills & Experience:
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the professionalism to represent the firm externally
Sharp attention to detail, with excellent analytical thinking and a solutions-focused mindset
Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced setting
Highly organized, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight
Tech-savvy and enthusiastic about learning new tools and systems
While prior compliance experience is advantageous, a solid understanding of financial services or regulation is expected and valued

Qualification:
Related experience
Degree in investment management
