Coffee Outbound Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading provider of workplace hydration and refreshment solutions based in Sandton is looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Representative to urgently join their team.

Experience selling Coffee is essential for this role. The client is willing to be slightly negotiable on the salary based on the right experience.
This is a hybrid working model but will be mainly out seeing clients.

POSITION INFO:
In order to be considered the following is required:

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years' outbound sales, telesales, business development or account acquisition experience
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM / Sales Management Systems
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of coffee products, coffee machines, or the FMCG / hospitality industry would be advantageous
• Strong sales closing and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify customer needs and present value-adding solutions
• Strong prospecting and networking capabilities
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
• Resilient and able to perform in a high-pressure, target-driven environment

• Drive new business development through proactive outbound sales activities, consistently securing new coffee customers and growing the business’ market presence
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets as determined by management
• Generate a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects and secure a minimum of 40 approved trial coffee machine placements per month
• Maintain a conversion rate of at least 30%, converting trial coffee machine placements into signed customer agreements
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise customer retention, repeat business, and referral opportunities
• Identify customer requirements and recommend tailored coffee solutions that meet operational and commercial needs
• Ensure all new customers meet the company's credit, risk, and quality standards to support sustainable long-term account growth
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, prospect, and sales activity information on company systems
• Deliver a professional customer experience through excellent product knowledge, communication and sales presentation skills
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding, equipment installations and service delivery
• Participate in sales campaigns, promotions and strategic projects that support revenue growth and market expansion
• Continuously improve sales effectiveness by incorporating coaching, quality feedback and industry knowledge into daily activities
