Claims Handler/Administrator

Red ember is currently recruiting for Claims Handler/Administrator to be based at a client in the Northern Suburbs.

A client who renders Building Integrated Site Services to the Property Facilities Management & Insurance Industry nationally is seeking to employ a seasoned and experienced Claims Handler/Administrator to assist in their Cape Town-based office.

The ideal applicant should possess the following attributes and skill set:

• Experience in front-line customer service
• Experience in incident management
• Experience in Claims Handling (Insurance background)
• Be computer literate
• A high-worth ethic
• Must be driven and enthusiastic
• High level of numeracy and methodical
• Be able to work in a fast-paced office setting.
• Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and logging of Jobs on CRM system within stipulated TAT (Turn Around Times)
• Allocating jobs to various departments and technicians
• Setting up appointments with clients for logged jobs
• Processing of material requests/quotes via the Buyer or Procurement department
• Processing of Job quotes on CRM system and forwarding to clients within TAT 24 hours
• Requesting & following up on purchase orders for completed jobs
• Invoicing of completed jobs and sending to clients

Client Liason / Customer Service:

• Constant update to clients on the progress of the job
• Handling & resolving queries
• Escalation of complex queries to Operational Manager
• Weekly status report on all jobs in progress
• Weekly planning meetings for in-progress jobs
