Citizen Developer Enablement Lead to help employees build useful applications.
POSITION INFO:
DRA Global is seeking a Citizen Developer Enablement Lead to empower employees to build valuable applications using approved business tools.
This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of software development who is passionate about teaching. You will mentor individuals new to app building, helping them gain the confidence and skills to design, build and enhance their own applications.
Key Responsibilities

Coach individuals and groups throughout the application development process.

Explain programming logic, data structures and workflows in clear, accessible language.

Support learners in troubleshooting and debugging their applications.

Deliver training sessions, workshops and onboarding programmes.

Create guides, worked examples, templates and reusable components to aid learning.

Review citizen-developed applications to ensure sound logic, data integrity, security and maintainability.

Establish practical development guidelines and identify issues requiring input from engineering teams.

Foster a community of practise through office hours and knowledge-sharing activities.

Collaborate closely with the Digital Factory, Platform Engineering and Cybersecurity teams.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

A tertiary qualification.

Minimum of three years' experience in software development, with strong programming, data and application design fundamentals.

At least three years' experience in teaching, training, coaching or mentoring.

Proven ability to explain technical concepts to beginners and work effectively with non-technical colleagues.

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

Understanding of the systems development lifecycle.

Experience with DevOps or other version control tools.

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Desirable Attributes
A relevant degree or equivalent experience is advantageous. Experience in citizen development, low-code platforms, curriculum design, change management or technology adoption will be highly regarded. Familiarity with relational databases, software frameworks, citizen-development governance, ReactJS, Blazor, HTML or Python is also beneficial.
