POSITION INFO:
A rapidly growing, highly dynamic FinTech innovator headquartered in Sandton is seeking an energetic, detail-driven Cashbook Specialist to join their expanding finance division. This position is custom-built for an analytically minded finance administrator who thrives on unraveling complex reconciliation variances, managing high-volume banking transactions, and maintaining flawless cash flow controls in a fast-evolving digital environment.

Operating at the core of daily transactional operations, you will take direct responsibility for multi-account bank reconciliations, electronic funds transfers (EFT), month-end ledger balancing, and audit preparation. Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cashbook Governance: Process and capture high-volume cashbook transactions across multiple local and international bank accounts under strict operational deadlines.
• Bank Reconciliations & Variance Resolution: Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations, conducting deep-dive investigations to resolve unallocated items, discrepancies, and banking variances timeously.
• EFT Processing & Treasury Support: Execute daily electronic payment batches, verify beneficiary details, and assist with liquidity allocations across multi-entity account structures.
• Month-End Close & Audit Support: Assist group finance with month-end ledger balancing, compile supporting reconciliation packs, and address internal and external audit inquiries.
• Account Rotation & Process Control: Rotate across diverse banking portfolios to ensure business continuity, enforcing internal financial controls, VAT guidelines, and corporate compliance standards.

• Formal Education: A completed Diploma or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial discipline.
• Experience Track Record: 2 to 3 years of solid, reference-backed commercial experience operating strictly within a cashbook or treasury-focused accounting capacity.
• Systems & Digital Mastery:
  
  • Advanced operational command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Practical experience operating on Navision / Dynamics 365 Business Central will be highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of Accpac (Sage 300) is advantageous.
• Technical Competencies: Sound understanding of full-function cashbook processing, complex bank reconciliations, cash flow mechanics, and basic VAT principles.
