SUMMARY:
CRM Coordinator
POSITION INFO:
Tsogo Sun Digital is the online betting and iGaming arm of one of South Africa’s most established gaming and entertainment groups. It combines the pace and growth potential of a fast-moving digital business with the backing, scale and broader customer ecosystem of a trusted legacy brand.
We are looking for a CRM Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day execution of player lifecycle, promotional CRM and retention activity across our sports betting and iGaming business.
Can you take a CRM brief and turn it into a live campaign without drama, delays or mistakes?
Can you pull the right audience, prepare the send, support the bonus setup, tag the links, check the logic, catch the issue before it becomes a problem, and make sure the campaign goes out exactly as it should?
This role sits right in the engine room of CRM.
It is for someone who enjoys the craft of execution and understands that in a live betting and iGaming environment, details matter. The wrong segment. The wrong bonus setup. A broken merge field. A missed suppression. A tracking error. A journey that looks fine in preview but fails in market. In this role, accuracy is not a nice-to-have. It matters commercially.
This is a slightly more technical role than a typical marketing co-ordinator role. It requires someone who is comfortable working with CRM platforms, segments, campaign builds, journey setup, tagging, tracking, QA and deployment processes. But just as important as platform skills are the personal qualities behind good execution - strong attention to detail, a hardworking attitude, reliability, discipline, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn.
You will work closely with the CRM Manager and partner regularly with the development team, testing team, creative team and broader event/group CRM stakeholders to help bring campaigns, journeys and player communications to life across email, SMS, push, onsite and other owned channels.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong career in CRM within one of the most dynamic industries in digital. You’ll be joining a fast-growing team in a fast-moving business, with exposure to real campaigns, real volumes, real platforms and real commercial impact. You’ll learn how a live CRM function operates, build valuable technical and commercial skills, and put yourself in a strong position to grow over time.
You’ll also get exposure to current and future CRM technology, including Playtech, Everlytic, Panacea and potentially broader best-in-breed lifecycle and automation platforms over time. Experience with equivalent tools is absolutely welcome - what matters most is that you are trainable, accurate and eager to learn.
Examples of what you’ll work on
•Co-ordinating and deploying CRM campaigns across email, SMS, push, onsite and related owned channels
•Pulling and preparing campaign audiences, lists and target groups using platform filters, spreadsheets, BI tools or SQL where applicable
•Supporting the setup, update and maintenance of automated journeys in current and future CRM platforms such as Playtech, Optimove or similar systems
•Assisting with the setup and generation of bonuses, free bets, reward communications and related promotional mechanics
•Supporting tactical promotions, sports-led sends, iGaming campaigns, bonus communications and always-on lifecycle messaging
•Supporting transactional CRM around registration, first deposit, failed deposit, KYC, withdrawals, bonus expiry and key player events
•Carrying out thorough QA across audience rules, personalisation tokens, merge fields, links, tracking, bonus setups, scheduling and suppressions beforedeployment
•Supporting mail merges, tagging, tracking structures and metadata setup to ensure campaigns are measurable and correctly attributed
•Working with the testing team, or supporting testing directly, to validate campaign logic, journey flows, bonuses and customer-facing execution before launch
•Monitoring live campaigns to ensure they are working as expected and flagging issues, anomalies or underperformance quickly
•Supporting reporting, ROI monitoring and post-campaign checks
•Assisting Customer Support or Call Centre teams with bonus or campaign-related queries where CRM context or setup details are needed
What we’re looking for
•2-4 years’ experience in CRM, email marketing, campaign operations, lifecycle marketing or a related execution-focused role
•Experience working in a fast-paced digital environment with regular campaign deployment
•Hands-on familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms
•Experience with Playtech, Everlytic, Panacea, Optimove, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot or similar platforms is advantageous
•Good understanding of email, SMS, push and campaign deployment basics
•Confidence with audience selection, segmentation, campaign setup and QA
•Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
•A hardworking attitude and willingness to take ownership of getting campaigns out correctly
•Curiosity, trainability and a genuine willingness to learn and develop
•Basic HTML/CSS skills would be a major advantage
•BI, reporting or basic SQL skills would be beneficial
•Sports betting and iGaming experience is a strong advantage, but not essential if you are platform-savvy, detail-oriented, trainable and commercially switchedon
Why this role stands out
•You’ll work at the centre of a live CRM function in a fast-moving sports betting and iGaming environment
•You’ll work closely with the CRM Manager and collaborate across dev, testing, creative and event/group CRM teams
•You’ll build valuable hands-on skills across platforms, journeys, promotions and lifecycle execution
•You’ll get exposure to current and future CRM platforms, including tools like Playtech, Everlytic and Panacea, as well as broader best-in-breed lifecycletechnology over time
•You’ll join a growing digital team with strong backing, scale and longer-term omnichannel opportunity through the wider Tsogo ecosystem
•You’ll have the chance to carve out a strong long-term career in an exciting role within a great industry
If you’re detail-driven, hardworking, keen to learn, and the kind of person who gets satisfaction from getting campaigns live properly and accurately, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply, your written application must include: CV (maximum 4 pages), contactable references (with telephone numbers), and covering letter with three reasons why you’re our top candidate for the job
Only successful applicants will be contacted.
