SUMMARY:
Our client a steel trading company requires an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

4 or more years recent experience as a Credit Controller (debtors) on a large debtor book R25 million plus
Reliable transport as you will be required to travel to Alberton from time to time
A stable work record and contactable references
Preferably a non- smoker
Able to work retails hours
A clear credit and criminal record
Strong collection and administrative skills
Computer literate on Syspro or similar and have advanced experience on Excel (Spreadsheets)
Reside close to Vereeniging
Knowledge of CGIC
Good verbal and communication skills in English and Afrikaans

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cashbook / Cash Flow
Annual Audits
Assist with admin duties related to stock takes
Filing and recordkeeping
Offer Branch support
Ensure that all payments are processed daily from bank accounts
Ensure that accounts remain in approved terms
Work closely with the Branch Manager and Credit Manager
Submit weekly and reports
