SUMMARY:
Junior Counter Sales / Customer Service Assistant opportunity in the Germiston area.

POSITION INFO:

Company situated in Germiston is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Counter Sales & Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist walk-in customers with sales, quotations, and new orders.
Process customer collections efficiently and professionally.
Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers or direct calls to the appropriate department.
Capture and process website orders accurately.
Handle general customer enquiries.
Keep the counter and working area neat, organised, and presentable at all times.
Assist colleagues with other tasks when your own duties have been completed.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Previous retail, counter sales, or customer service experience will be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
Friday: 07:30 – 15:00
Closed on weekends and public holidays (unless otherwise required).
