CONCRETE STRUCTURES FOREMAN – Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise concrete structures and reinforced concrete construction on site
• Manage construction teams, subcontractors and daily site activities
• Coordinate shuttering/formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and programme
• Monitor quality, productivity and workmanship
• Coordinate concrete pours and ensure correct preparation and sequencing
• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and subcontractors
• Conduct daily inspections and maintain site records
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirements
• Assist with planning, programming and resource allocation
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues efficiently

• 5+ years’ experience as a Concrete Structures Foreman or similar role
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural construction
• Proven experience on medium to large building projects
• Good understanding of construction drawings and structural details
• Experience managing teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of formwork, reinforcement and concrete works
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Relevant construction qualification or trade background will be advantageous
