SUMMARY:
Our client a luxury residential estate and hotels based in Ballito is looking for a strong communications manager to join their team reporting to the CEO.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:

Appropriate 3 year Degree/National Diploma in marketing/journalism/ communication/ public relations, or other relevant field.

5 years+ of experience working in a similar role.

3 years brand management and marketing experience, Demonstrable experience in creative / art direction, event management, PR and communications, online and web development, project management, graphic design

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Strong presentation and communication skills. Exceptional writing skills, Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools and techniques in social media, Computer literacy (MS Office); Sound interpersonal relations; Planning and organizing skills; Able to work under pressure, independently and willingness to work extra hours; Problem solving, organisational and leadership skills; Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Develop internal and external communication strategies,

• Management and design of marketing outputs in support of marketing strategy,

• preparing detailed communiques, internal newsletters, media reports, press releases, and marketing materials whilst also managing the estates websites and social media platforms.

• Digital content management and online domains, Public Relations and internal communications management

•Member liaison and building of a strong member relations strategy.
