CNC PROGRAMMER – VANDERBIJLPARK

A well-established engineering/manufacturing company in the Vanderbijlpark area is looking for an experienced and qualified CNC Programmer to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified/experienced CNC Programmer

• Proven experience programming and operating CNC Milling Machines and Centre Lathes

• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controls

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming

• Experience with setting, programming and operating CNC machinery

• Ability to select appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds

• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality requirements

• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines

• Relevant engineering/machining qualification will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Programme CNC Milling Machines and Centre Lathes

• Set up and operate CNC machinery

• Develop and modify CNC programmes using Fanuc and Siemens controls

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Select tooling and machining parameters

• Perform quality checks and ensure components meet required specifications

• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues

• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment
