SUMMARY:
A defence company in Centurion is seeking a cnc operator

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., lathes, mills) safely and efficiently
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Monitor the machine operations and adjust settings as needed
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with tolerances
Maintain accurate production and inspection records

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Familiarity with CNC machinery and tooling
Basic math and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
