SUMMARY:
Responsible for establishing, building and scaling the company, a bespoke design and manufacturing brand, specializing in luxury residential and hospitality space.

POSITION INFO:

This exciting role is for a strong Business Manager, based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is a business builder role, not a caretaker management position. You will enter the market with entrepreneurial energy, create revenue from the ground up, build a team and operational structure, and transition the business toward a sustainable and profitable operation.

The company operates at the premium end of the market, creating bespoke lifestyle pieces for high-end homeowners, interior designers, architects, developers and boutique hospitality. You must be credible and comfortable in that world - able to walk into a designer''s studio, earn trust and convert relationships into consistent project flow.

Focus Areas:

Specifier relationships development - interior designers, architects - primary growth engine
Revenue generation and direct client acquisition
Premium brand establishment and market presence
Operational setup, state-gate discipline and capability building
Financial control and sustainable profitability
Enter and position the business credibly in the market
Drive sales, win clients and generate consistent income against targets
Establish operational infrastructure, systems and processes
Ensure profitability, manage cashflow tightly
Develop and lead a local team aligned with company culture
Transition the operation to a structured, scalable business

Requirements:

Matric with relevant qualification
Minimum of 5 years working experience within a similar role
Strong business acumen
Computer literate
Own transport
Excellent communication skills
Strong sales & business development skillset
