SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Midrand.

This is a hands-on business development role focused on actively generating new business.

POSITION INFO:
The BDM will be expected to research target companies, identify decision-makers and conduct extensive cold calling weekly.

Duties:

Identify and engage with potential clients through direct marketing, cold calling, email outreach, and professional networking, with a focus on securing in-person meetings.
Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals, prioritizing hand delivery of quotations where feasible to enhance client engagement.
Maintain and manage a qualified pipeline of leads using RedSky and PipeDrive reporting tools, ensuring consistent tracking and follow-up.
Consistently meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including weekly client meetings, monthly move volumes, contribution targets, and conversion rates.
Collaborate with internal departments, Sales, Operations, Finance, and International, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution of all issues.

Requirements:

Own reliable vehicle and drivers license
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate on a high level
5-8 Years experience as a Business developer / external sales
Degree or diploma in business / sales
