POSITION INFO:
A leading supplier of industrial and specialty gases is looking for a commercially strong Business Development Engineer to grow its footprint across industrial, manufacturing, and process environments.

This role combines external client engagement with a strong internal focus on tenders, quotations, and technical proposals, making it ideal for someone who understands both the commercial and operational side of gas supply solutions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Proven experience in technical sales or business development within industrial gases or process industries
Strong capability in tendering, quotations, and structured sales processes
Solid commercial acumen and attention to detail
Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to clients (±70%)

Job Experience & Skills Required

Identify and develop new business within industrial, manufacturing, and process sectors
Prepare and manage tenders, quotations, and technical proposals
Engage with clients on gas applications, supply solutions, and process requirements
Balance external sales activity with strong internal coordination and administration
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to contract award
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and documentation
